Can VX2 Pro charge both 18650 and 21700 batteries at the same time?

Yes, VX2 Pro can charge different battery sizes simultaneously because each slot operates completely independently. You can charge an 18650 in slot 1 and a 21700 in slot 2 at the same time, even with different charging currents. Each slot has its own current selection (250mA to 3A) and mode selection (Charge, Test, Storage, Discharge, Refresh), so you can optimize charging for each battery individually.

Do I need to set charging current manually or does it work automatically?

VX2 Pro works automatically by default - just insert batteries and it auto-detects chemistry and selects optimal charging current. Manual control is completely optional and available when you want to set specific charging speeds or modes. The charger automatically recognizes Li-ion, Ni-MH, and 1.5V batteries. Exception: 3.2V LiFePO₄ batteries require manual chemistry selection for safety, but charging current is still automatic.

How fast can VX2 Pro charge my batteries?

VX2 Pro charges at up to 3A for a single battery or 2A per battery when charging two simultaneously (requires the included 20W PD adapter). Typical charging times: an 18650 battery (3000mAh) charges in approximately 1.5 hours at 2A current, or 3 hours at 1A current. You can manually select from five charging speeds: 250mA, 500mA, 1A, 2A, or 3A based on your battery capacity and how quickly you need it charged.

What is Storage Mode and when should I use it?

Storage Mode charges or discharges your Li-ion battery to approximately 3.8V (the optimal storage voltage) to extend battery lifespan and prevent degradation. Storing batteries fully charged at 4.2V causes faster capacity loss and shorter overall life. Use Storage Mode whenever batteries won't be used for 2+ weeks - seasonal flashlights, backup power banks, rotating collections, emergency kits, or spare cells. VX2 Pro automatically adjusts voltage up or down to reach the ideal storage level, protecting your battery investment during long periods of non-use.
