  • Capacity Test: Run a full charge-discharge-charge cycle to accurately measure the true mAh capacity of your cells.
  • Storage Mode: Conditions Li-ion batteries to their optimal storage voltage (~3.8V), dramatically extending their long-term lifespan.
  • Internal Resistance (IR) Test: Measure per-slot internal resistance to identify aging cells, match batteries for packs, and monitor overall health.
    ► Pro Tip for Protected Batteries

    When testing protected cells (e.g., protected 18650), the charger measures the total resistance, which includes the cell itself PLUS its built-in protection circuit (PCB). A higher IR reading is therefore normal and expected.

    Best practice: Use the IR reading to compare the same *type* of protected cells against each other to track their relative health over time.

  • Precise Current Control: For Li-ion batteries, manually select from five current options (0.25A, 0.5A, 1A, 2A, 3A) per bank. For added safety, the charger will automatically adjust to a more appropriate current if it detects a smaller cell. Ni-MH/Ni-Cd charging is set to an optimal, fixed 500mA for safety and performance.
  • 0V Activation: A built-in safety feature that safely recovers and revives over-discharged Li-ion cells that other chargers would register as damaged.
